Traction Power & Earthing Upgrades - Phase 1 Works

Description

TfGM has established a contract to ascertain current asset condition information & outline design (Phase 1). At present there are a number of assets (exact extents unknown) which are located within the OCLZ within 1CC that were not electrically bonded when the system was “floated” in 2017. All existing 1CC line-side assets, that fall within the OCLZ, must be assessed against relevant standards and the Metrolink Infrastructure Technical Specification System Earthing Policy to ensure compliance and any identified non-compliances rectified on site.
