The Services comprise the development of Ireland’s first National Risk Assessment (NRA) for forest biomass under RED III. The NRA will provide a national-level, risk-based framework to demonstrate compliance with EU sustainability criteria, reduce certification costs, and support Ireland’s climate and energy targets.
