The works involve refurbishing and reconfiguring a range of classroom rooms, to create new sensory rooms. This includes extensive strip‑out, structural alterations, new steelwork, installation of new partitions, fire stopping, new door sets, ceilings, floor finishes, decorations. The project also covers mechanical and electrical installations, roof penetrations for extract ventilation. The fit out of the specialist spaces will be done outside of the contract.
