Adult Skills Fund

Description

As per the County Deal, the Adult Skills Fund is being devolved from the DfE to SCC in advance of the 2026/27 academic year. The Adult Skills Fund is designed to support adult learners in gaining the skills they need for meaningful employment and personal development. Final allocation for 26/27 yet TBC - expected to be c£12m and will be received May/June 26. In 2023/24 (the most recent full year of data), there were 28,848 enrolments to ASF-funded provision in Surrey, with 193 organisations offering ASF provision.
