Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking quotes to replace the existing playground at Hawthorn Gardens, Kendal with a modern, exciting, and inclusive play space that better meets the needs of the local community. Key aims include: Providing a variety of new play equipment that delivers challenge, excitement, and play value for children of different ages and abilities. Enhancing accessibility and incorporating inclusive play elements wherever possible. Ensuring the new design makes effective use of the site, recognising it is a small site but is well used. Improving the ground conditions that are currently uneven and prone to flooding.
