Removing all dust. Packing the joint with an agreed lime mortar, flush pointed and lightly brushed. Removing all vegetation, plants, trees, moss and algae growing on the chimney. Defrass all loose, flaking or delaminating stonework. Replace missing stone blocks. Repaint the metal restraining bands. Repaint the metal chimney cap.
