New Diesel Passenger Vehicles

Description

This Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Technical Specification for New Diesel Passenger Vehicles is applicable to new diesel vehicles being introduced in the local transport authority areas of Liverpool City Region (Merseytravel). This specification covers short length diesel passenger vehicles. LCRCA is not specifying whether these vehicles should be Mini or small PCV buses, provided that it can deliver on the requirements within this specification. The vehicles will be capable of carrying seated but unrestrained occupants and standing occupants. Such vehicles are categorised the Consolidated Resolution on the Construction of Vehicles (R.E.3) as M3; Class I.
