To address these issues specifically, the Council is commissioning a suitably qualified consultancy to undertake a combined Landscape Character and Recreational Pressure Assessment (LCRPA) as part of the evidence base for the Local Plan review. This study will inform Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA), biodiversity duty compliance under the Environment Act 2021, and policy development around landscape protection, visitor management, and sustainable development.________________________________________
