Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) (the 'Contracting Authority') have awarded a contract for a single supplier to produce Clean Energy Projects Workforce Mapping. The contracting authority reserves the right to modify the contract in reliance on Schedule 8 paragraph 1 of the Procurement Act 2023 where the contracting authority clearly states the circumstance in which a modification may be required. These circumstances are: •Office for Clean Energy Jobs within DESNZ may request additional activity aligned to this work; internal capacity constraints may create processing delays. Stakeholder engagement may be low, limiting the level of insight gained; project pipelines are not sufficiently developed to be able to align skills needs. The Verdant Place Garden is located on the northwest tip of the line of the historic Englishtown medieval grain. This project involves landscape design works, the repair of historic railings, and the construction of a new link / route through a gated green space on Verdant Place, King’s Island, Limerick. The link will allow for continuous pedestrian and cycle movement to the east of the one-way vehicular carriageway that connects King Johns Castle to the south of St. Mary’s Park Regeneration Area. The objective of the Verdant Place project is to provide a new piece of public realm adjacent to the River Shannon. The restoration and rejuvenation of this space will provide enhanced local connectivity to the Regeneration Area of St. Mary’s Park, enhance the reading of King’s Island’s medieval history and feed into several active development schemes in the area. This development supports key objectives within both the Limerick Development Plan 2022-2028 and the Limerick Regeneration Framework Implementation Plan.

This project seeks to build on research undertaken by Historic England and others, to establish an effective technical framework for historic built assets excluding archaeological remains, landscapes and wrecks. It will offer solutions and identify opportunities for the heritage sector when considering the impact planning policy and climate change impacts have on approaches to specific historic buildings and structures. This project also seeks to support those working in the heritage sector to assess and analyse decisions for change, whilst considering the economic and carbon [variable] impacts these choices may have. Multi criteria decision analysis (MCDA) is a recognised methodology used within wider government to help decision-makers rationally choose between multiple options where there are several conflicting objectives.
