Hankinnan kohteena on palvelumuotoilun asiantuntijapalvelut. Asiantuntijat toimivat Traficomin digitaalisten palveluiden ja operatiivisten järjestelmien ketterien kehitystiimien palvelumuotoilijoina. Asiantuntijat tulevat työskentelemään kehitystiimien lisäksi substanssiyksiköiden asiantuntijoiden sekä Traficomin kanssa kiinteässä yhteistyössä. Hankintayksikkö valitsee kaksi (2) palveluntuottajaa, jonka kanssa hankintayksikkö tekee asiakaskohtaisen sopimuksen resurssien toimittamisesta. Sopimuskauden aikainen työmäärä jakautuu arviolta seuraavasti: kilpailutuksen korkeimman pistemäärän saanut tarjoaja 3600 henkilötyöpäivää ja kilpailutuksen toiseksi tullut tarjoaja 2400 henkilötyöpäivää. Hankinnan kohde on kuvattu tarkemmin tarjouspyynnössä ja sen liitteissä.
