Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin) intends to procure, for research purposes, an optical measurement system for volumetric, time-resolved velocity field and structural deformation measurements in water. The measurement system must be capable of capturing time-resolved volumetric velocity fields, from which two-dimensional velocity field can be derived. Furthermore, the system must be able to capture the dynamics of collapsing cavitation bubbles in a time-resolved manner, as well as optically capture macroscopic cavitation and evaluate them statistically. The measurement system consists of at least four high-speed cameras including Scheimpflug adapters, as well as at least a high-power LED for volume illumination. In addition, the overall system must include the hardware required for operation and data evaluation, as well as the necessary measurement and evaluation software. The modular system must be designed such that the cameras can be individually positioned to capture the desired measurement volume. The system shall be expandable at any time through additional hardware and software.
