| Reason for this procedure | NIMDTA intends to directly award this contract to Nissin Dental Products Europe BV. The Simodont platform is a proprietary dental simulation system developed and manufactured by Nissin. Nissin is the sole provider of manufacturer-authorised maintenance services, software updates, calibration procedures and OEM replacement components necessary for ongoing support of the installed equipment. Following consideration of the market, NIMDTA has concluded that no reasonable alternative supplier can fulfil the technical requirements of the contract. |
