Secure web gateway (SWG) proxy service

Description

A secure web gateway (SWG) proxy service is a cybersecurity solution that filters malicious web traffic, enforces corporate policies, and protects against threats for remote users and offices. SLC have adopted the Zscaler SWG platform as the strategic cybersecurity solution. It delivers secure, cloud-based internet access through advanced threat protection, SSL inspection, data loss prevention without relying on on-premises appliances. The cloud solution provides operational improved performance, scalability and a lower cost of deployment. The current contract for the Zscaler services and premium support started on 19th July 2022 on a two (2) year term with the option to extend for two (2) twelve-month periods. Both the extension periods were contracted for, with the end date being 18th July 2026. For technical reasons the decision was taken by SLC to continue with ZScaler technology.

Awarded to
