Spec:
LondonEnergy Ltd (The Company) operate seven Reuse and Recycling Centres (RRC's) within North London and will shortly be adding an eighth RRC to the portfolio[EH1.1]
Our Recycling Centres provide local residents with a place to dispose of their household waste and recyclables. They are open 7 days a week, 364 days a year.
We operate mobile plants in 5 of our RRC's as a way to separate waste/recyclates, manipulate waste in the bins to maximise payloads and load out waste to 3rd parties.
The RRC's have an annual throughput of circa. 28,930T of waste. This includes bulky waste, household waste as well as recyclates, wood, green waste, tyres, mattresses etc.
Our RRC's where we operate mobile plant are located in the following London Boroughs:
- Camden
- Waltham Forest
- Barnet
- Haringey
We will require mobile plant to be delivered to these locations at the start of any contract and maintained throughout the term, onsite at the same address the plants were delivered to.
The Contract shall commence on 1 October 2026 for an initial term of three (3) years, with the option to extend for up to a further two (2) years on a year-by-year basis (3+1+1), subject to mutual agreement between the parties.
Barrowell Green RRC is currently excluded from the initial scope of this procurement. However, the Company reserves the right to incorporate Barrowell Green RRC into the Contract during the contract term, subject to operational requirements and agreement in accordance with the Contract provisions
