The service is for adults (18+ years) with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder (anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating or eating disorder not otherwise specified (EDNOS)), which is moderate to severe and may be acute or chronic. The service offers a range of therapeutic and evidence-based treatments to help service users with their eating disorders with support around psychological treatment, dietary advice and occupational therapy. In addition, the service provides consultation and liaison for adults with a diagnosis of the above, and a duty service during operational hours.

North Somerset Council is procuring an adult weight management service to support North Somerset residents to change behaviour, lose weight and maintain a healthier weight, for adults who are Overweight (BMI>25) /Obese (BMI>30) adults aged 16+, this is a general group-led weight management service to target all age ranges and socio-economic groups, with KPI's to target: under 55's, lower socio-economic groups, black and minority ethnic groups and people with disabilities. Community Investigation Hubs form part of the network of Community Diagnostic Centres in Somerset with the aim of offering patients a wide range of diagnostic tests closer to home and greater choice as to where and how they are undertaken, reducing the need for hospital visits and potentially expediting the start of treatment.

Bath and North East Somerset awarded the Contract for the provision of the ASC Community, Social and Memory Support (CSMS) Services. The procurement run in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, Light Touch Regime (LTR) above-threshold, one stage tender. The CSMS service provides groups and activities that will build on the inherent strengths of the community, developing and supporting new and existing community networks. They will enable older people to have support in the cultivation of social inclusion and self-management of their conditions and being able to live personally meaningful lives. The service will provide community social support groups, memory support groups and activities, facilitating, enabling and supporting a range of local day opportunities across various locations within Bath and North East Somerset that will provide physically and mentally stimulating activities that improve people's wellbeing and quality of life.

Delivery of targeted services for adults, children and families to provide healthy weight management services.

Provision of planned night care support for people who are in the end of life stage of their illness. Delivered in their usual place of residence according to the needs of the individual patient and their families.

The service to be provided for under this contract is the Keyworker Service for Dorset Place to provide an offer which enhances existing services to support Service Users in navigating the services and reduce the risk of admission to a mental health unit. The contract award has been made following the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Direct Award Process A. The approximate lifetime value of the contract is £900,000. The contract term runs from 01 April 2025 until 31 March 2028.

Contract Award Notice for the tender for dispersed safe accommodation for those fleeing domestic abuse and that fall into the below groups: i) male victims (single males and those with children) ii) victims who are working and are unable to afford the rents and service charge at the refuge iii) victims with pets iiii) victims who cannot otherwise access the main refuge provision due to their gender, economic status, or family dynamic (having older male children, pets etc) To ensure a safe place for all victims when additional safe accommodation with support is required. The accommodation will be available to the groups identified above, self-contained, and geographically dispersed. The contract term will be for 12 months as stated in the RFQ documents. Estimated contract spend is capped at £113,000 excluding VAT, across the 1 year contract term.
